As I was playing with the B-21's backhoe this week end at camp, I found that the hydrolic system would "run out of power". Sometimes the hoe would lift and jerk the tractor around witch told me that I was going too hard but other times when I had a rock or frozen ground the hydrolics would run out of power. My question is, does engine RPMs dictate the hydrolic power. ie the hoe is "stronger" at 2500 rpm then 1000???? What is the best "working" rpm.

I like about two thirds throttle. The rpm will certainly make a difference and to run it hard at lower rpms will actually cause harm to the system. ....
